1. Departure 09:00

09:00 Meet at our office :
1-3-2, Shinkawa, Chuo-ku, Tokyo

2. The Imperial Palace and cycle along the moat of the palace

Miyakezaka, this is the first hill of the day. Still moderate one.

3. Yasukuni Shrine

Also known as War Shrine

4. Kagurazaka

After climbing up a big hill (named O-saka), now we are in Kagurazaka, a charming area with lots of backstreets

5. Bunkyo ward

Bunkyo is the most hilly ward among 23 wards in Tokyo. Enjoy hill climbing (and ofcourse downhill) !!

6. Rikugien Japanese garden

Originally a Samurai feudal lord’s mansion in Edo period

7. Local shopping streets

Tabata to Yanaka

8. Yanesen area

Some more hills to go up and down in this old downtown which has nostalgic atmosphere

9. Ueno park – Shinobazu pond

After long down hill, cycle along the pond covered with lotuses

Riding through famous electric town, Akihabara. Our goal is almost there!
